Hebe salicifolia (Koromiko) is a fast-growing, large, spreading evergreen shrub, reaching up to 2 metres in height and width. It features narrow, willow-like leaves that give it a graceful appearance. In late spring to summer, it produces showy clusters of pale lilac to white flowers, adding a splash of colour and attracting pollinators. Koromiko provides excellent low shelter, making it ideal for hedging or as a screen plant. It thrives in well-drained soils, preferring full sun to partial shade, and is hardy, tolerating both frost and coastal conditions. Regular trimming after flowering helps maintain its shape and vigour.
