This delightful evergreen compact shrub is fairly hardy and produces vibrant carmine red buds in winter, that open up to form white flowers. These last from late winter through till spring. They then form into attractive ornamental (inedible) berries in summer. Can be shaped by pruning. Good for costal areas as it is tolerant of fairly harsh weather conditions.
